2020 Solace Cycles Bike Raffle

THE RAFFLE IS NOW CLOSED AS OF 12:00AM ON OCTOBER 15.

WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON OCTOBER 17...STAY TUNED!!

Announcing our new fundraiser where you can support the local mountain bike trails and enter a raffle with a chance to win a custom Solace Cycles bike (winner chooses 1 of 3 models shown above).

Its simple to enter - for every $10, participants receive one entry for the drawing (you get bonus chances for donating more $$).  Raffle entries can only be purchased online by clicking the links below (you will be redirected to another website hosted by our Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism to purchase entries).

Proceeds support the trail work of the Barkeater Trails Alliance which has been advocating for, building and enhancing single track in the eastern High Peaks region of the Adirondack Park in Upstate NY since 2010.  Our trail projects are volunteer-driven by local riders and the assistance of a small but hard-working professional trail crew in the summer.

Details:
$10 per chance                $25 - 3 chances
$50 - 7 chances              $100 - 15 chances

Purchase as many entries as you can and earn some serious trail karma

The winner will receive a new, custom build Solace Cycles rig - with the ability to choose between three different models - #1 aggressive singletrack hardtail, #2 pinion-geared bike packing, or #3 the mountain-bikers gravel bike.  Solace Cycles is actively committed to the promotion of both the sport and the region in all that they do.  Their frame geometries are tested on the proving grounds of Otis Mountain.  Their bikes are equipped with the best the industry has produced.

Solace Cycles - Aggressive, purpose built bikes, designed for the Adirondacks and made to ride anywhere.

The 2020 Solace Cycles bike raffle will directly support trail work in the 2021 season.  There are many exciting new projects on the horizon that will take many years to fully implement.  But we have to start somewhere!  Upcoming projects include the construction of a newly approved 20+ mile trail network connecting the villages of Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, which will feature an epic 10-mile loop as well as critical community-to-backcountry trail connections.  In Wilmington, BETA looks to construct reroutes of the high-elevation Cooper Kiln Trail, in order to establish a premier 7+ mile backcountry ride linked directly to the existing 25-mile network of single track.  And in Elizabethtown - the home land of Solace Cycles - new trails are on tap for the "unapologetically rustic" radness at Otis Mountain and a community trail system on Cobble Hill above the historic hamlet center.  Hell yes.

Teaser prizes will be awarded throughout the campaign - with the grand prize drawing taking place on in fall 2020

At the core of BETA's mission is a burning desire to expand and enhance more than 75 miles of single track spanning four Adirondack communities.  But BETA’s “hands in the dirt” work in the region is about more than just building great trails, its about building community.  We do this through member-supported, volunteer-driven projects, events and initiatives that engage people in the responsible stewardship and enjoyment of the trails in the region.  Your support is instrumental in helping us achieve our mission.
