Solace Cycles - Aggressive, purpose built bikes, designed for the Adirondacks and made to ride anywhere. The 2022 Solace Cycles bike raffle will directly support trail work in the 2023 season. There are many exciting new projects on the horizon that will take several years and multiple phases to fully implement - but we have to start somewhere! Upcoming projects include the construction of a newly approved 20+ mile trail network connecting the villages of Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, which will feature an epic 10-mile loop as well as critical community-to-backcountry trail connections. In Wilmington, BETA looks to construct reroutes of the high-elevation Cooper Kiln Trail, in order to establish a premier 7+ mile backcountry ride linked directly to the existing 25-mile network of single track. In Keene, we're working with partners to bring a new multi-use trail system and pump track to the community. And in Elizabethtown - the home land of Solace Cycles - new trails are on tap for the "unapologetically rustic" radness at Otis Mountain. Hell yes.
At the core of BETA's mission is a burning desire to expand and enhance more than 75 miles of single track spanning four Adirondack communities. But BETA’s “hands in the dirt” work in the region is about more than just building great trails, its about building community. We do this through member-supported, volunteer-driven projects, events and initiatives that engage people in the responsible stewardship and enjoyment of the trails in the region. Your support is instrumental in helping us achieve our mission.
