End of the Year Campaign
|
A generous anonymous donor has pledged to match up to $20,000 in community donations until the end of 2025. Together we can raise $40,000 for trails and community programming in 2026!
Your donation does more than build and maintain trails; it builds lifelines to a like-minded and supportive community. We are a member-supported, volunteer-driven, human-powered trail building and stewardship organization. We’re not just skis and pedals - we are riders, runners, walkers, builders, advocates, skiers, parents, stewards, and friends. We wear skinny skis, fat skis, snowshoes and hiking boots and we wholeheartedly believe all bikes (old, blue, squeaky & new) are good bikes.
This matching opportunity is available for a limited time only. Together, we can ensure that our trails continue to be a source of joy and connection for future generations of adventurers. Donate now to double your impact.

Help support building and maintaining sustainable community & backcountry trails in the Adirondack High Peaks region.
The mission of the Barkeater Trails Alliance is build, maintain and advocate for a system of community and backcountry trails for ski touring, mountain biking and other human-powered activities in the eastern High Peaks region of the Adirondack Park.
Efforts to fulfill this mission are coordinated and driven by BETA's staff, Board and a passionate network of local trail users who collectively dedicate thousands of hours each year to maintaining, expanding and supporting our local trail systems. Simply put, we're working hard every day to sustain and enhance the trails that connect our communities to the local woods and the wilder backcountry, whether by skis, bike or foot, for generations to come.
There are two ways to donate:
1. Become a Member (or renew your support) - For individuals & families that use our local trails
2. Become a Community Partner - For businesses and organizations, big and small (learn more here)
We will use your donation to leverage the public/private grants and BETA fundraisers that support our work, employ local residents and encourage volunteerism, and help enhance our communities through trail-based recreation and tourism.
Want to see your donation history, update your payment details, or change recurring donation frequency? Click one of the "DONATE" buttons above and then click "Log In" in the upper right corner. Enter your details and viola! We're cooking with fire.
