Jackrabbit Trail 30th Anniversary Celebration @ Cascade XC Ski Center, Lake Placid
All day event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Adirondack Ski Touring Council and the establishment of the Jackrabbit Ski Trail. Join us for a hiking tour of the Jackrabbit Trail and a new ski and bike trail network under development on Scott's Cobble, followed by the BETA annual meeting of the members and then a party at Cascade with live music, food & drink, bonfire and story telling by Tony Goodwin and others.

BETA Poker Ride Fundraiser @ Big Slide Brewery & Public House, Lake Placid
The event has become a fall tradition and a great way to check out some of Lake Placid's best trails. Be ready for 10-12 miles of riding with five stops along the way to draw cards for your poker hand.
Cost is $15/rider and includes a BETA beer coozie. The best three hands will win prizes from local sponsors and BETA schwag.
Registration/sign-up will begin at 10:30am at the new Big Slide Brewery & Public House on Sentinel Road. The Poker Ride will roll-out around 11:00pm, and we'll return to the Pub around 3:00pm for the award ceremony and to enjoy some fine food and beer (food and beer not included in registration cost). Parking is limited at Big Slide so please carpool to the event or ride from your house if you're a LP local.

BETA is teaming up with Cycle Adirondacks to bring you "The Rider & The Wolf" - an award-winning documentary film which tells the story of Mike Rust - the Hall of Fame mountain biker who disappeared without a trace.
