Flume Bridge Repair Planning Underway

If you've ridden at the Flume recently, you may have noticed that some of the bog bridges could use a bit of attention.

Earlier this week, Trails Coordinator Dusty broke away from working at Blueberry Hill, Elizabethtown to join Executive Director Glenn at the Flume, Wilmington.

They took a close look at each of these bog bridges to identify priority projects and get a better sense for the materials necessary for the work, some of the first steps to repairing or replacing them later this season.  Can't wait to share transformation pictures after the work is done.

Trail projects like this are a crucial part of BETA's work in the region to not only build, but to maintain the trails we know and love.
