Connect with friends and neighbors, enjoy some local brews and finger foods, and sit back for a movie night that will keep you hooked.
The film lineup features winter activities like ice climbing, skiing, paddling, and nordic skating. Films dabble in a wide range of topics like art and community, conservation and development, independence and family...all in the context of human-powered winter recreation. Tickets are on sale now, $10 for adults and free for kids 16 and under. Tickets will be on sale at the door while they last. Schedule for the evening:
5:30 - Doors open; join us at the North Country School and Camp Treetops Performing Arts Center for a social hour complete with snacks and drinks while they last. Say hello to our special guests: ADK Avy, NOCO Kneedroppers, Adirondack Powder Skiers Association, Placid Planet, The Mountaineer, High Peaks Cyclery, and Silver Birch Cycles. Shout out to Lake Placid Pub and Brewery for providing a variety of local brews. 6:30 - First half of the Film Fest. 7:30 - Intermission. 7:45 - Second half of the Film Fest. 9:00 - Films conclude -- have an excellent night and get home safe!
